Real Weddings - 14th Feb 2026

Well, Heather and Andy's wedding was a banger from start to finish. I was booked through Dirtbag Entertainment as part of the band package, they booked The Reverie.

As with all events where I work with a band, we had shared information between us prior to the day so we could make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. I had also spoken with Heather and Andy to chat through music choices, must plays, and get a sense of how the night might unfold. Straight off the bat we were all on the same page, and I knew this night was going to be a banger and I was not disappointed!

The venue was epic - Future Yard, Birkenhead - while it was my first time there, it was fantastic. Proper live event vibes, amazing staff, stunning space to work with, and the most gorgeous Pizza I have ever tasted!

Due to the compact nature of the venue, I set up on some crates in the corner of the stage in what felt like the grungiest and most festival like set up I have ever played. It looked cool, I felt like a boss, and it worked really well with the band right next to me too.
